Matheson is a member of one of the world's, largest suppliers of gases and gas handling equipment. Matheson is a premier supplier of Industrial, Specialty and Medical Gases, Welding and Safety Supplies, as well as Propane in bulk and cylinder form. The National Driver Recruiter is a critical role, ensuring that we attract and hire highly qualified, experienced Drivers to deliver our products. The National Driver Recruiter will be responsible for sourcing and screening qualified commercial, Class A CDL and Class B CDL Drivers to fill existing needs, as well as to establish a pipeline for sufficient, future Driver demands. Position Accountabilities- Conduct day-to-day Driver recruiting activities, follow recruiting processes and act as a resource on all points of the Driver recruitment cycle. - Creatively source and develop a pool of qualified Class A CDL (w/ Tanker Endorsement, preferred) and Class B CDL (Hazmat, Air Brake Endorsement and Medical card, prior packaged gas tractor-trailer experience) Driver applicants through the use of traditional and non-traditional techniques including job postings, print and radio advertising, social media channels, cold-calling/direct sourcing, networking, obtaining referrals, job fairs, employment agencies, Internet searches, etc. - Collaborate with hiring managers to fully understand their hiring needs and the specifications of their open Driver requisitions. - Successfully handle a high requisition load and maintain clear communication with both candidates and hiring managers. - Demonstrate unparalleled integrity and high energy while working under minimal supervision. - Provide a superior candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
