Job Description

EXCEPTIONAL Metals, a division of Duro-Last Roofing, manufactures high-quality metal products including: roof accessories, metal roof and wall systems, metal edge details, drainage systems, scuppers, collector boxes, pitch pans, and other customer fabricated products. We are seeking candidates who are eager to learn and grow within our Company! Starting wages range from $17.00 to $19.00 per hour depending on experience.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Assist fellow team members in making a high-quality product, free of defects, to fulfill customers' needs and expectations
  • While working with a qualified trainer, learn all the basic level tasks including how to operate all machines, (brake press, shear, punch press, shipping/receiving, etc.) and follow all standard operating procedures
  • Accurately complete all required production paperwork
  • Keep work area clean and neat to ensure there are no safety hazards and that the area is presentable for guests
  • All other duties as assigned

Position Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED is required
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Able to work in a team and have initiative to get the job done
  • Must be able to pass a pre-hire drug screen, physical, and background check
  • Bend, push, carry, lift up to 50 pounds
  • Available to work up to a 10-hour shift and weekends when necessary
  • Accurately read and interpret a tape measure
  • Previous forklift experience is highly desired
  • Experience with sheet metal is preferred
