Within this team, we have an opportunity for a Business Development manager to work in a talented, cross-functional, highly collaborative team to lead the business development activities. This individual must possess a strong blend of portfolio knowledge, product management, financial and operations skills. This role will be responsible for identifying and prioritizing opportunities for partnerships to expand the Command Center Software ecosystem and drive added capabilities and new revenue streams and creating the corresponding framework and business models to realize the revenue and business opportunities. This role will collaborate with sales and product teams to understand the customer landscape and needs/gaps and offer insights on trends happening in the industry and competitive spaces. This role will assess and organize our solutions Competitive landscape addressing solution span and complexities. It will be key to stay current on competitive developments and recommend actions.
This role will thrive in collaboration with product managers, sales leads, offer managers and various cross-functional team members as both customers and partners to better our offer and competitive edge. An ideal candidate will possess strong product management, financial and operations acumen, and enjoy working in a cross matrixed, distributed, and highly collaborative team environment.
Responsibilities:
Identify capability gaps and needs across the portfolio
Identify and prioritize areas and opportunities for partnerships to expand the Command Center Software ecosystem and drive added capabilities and new revenue streams
Build framework and business models for added capabilities and revenue streams, including onboarding process and strateg
Meet regularly with product and sales teams to understand the customer landscape and needs/gaps and offer insights on trends happening in the industry and competitive spaces
Assess and organize our solutions Competitive landscape addressing solution span and complexities. Stay current on competitive developments and recommend actions.
Maintain a high level of portfolio, market and product knowledge to maximize performance.
Effectively manage the business development initiatives and drive initiatives into Command Center Software offerings
Requirements:
5+ years of business development and/or offer management experience
Finance and Operations experience building financial models, long range plans and pricing
Data Analysis and experience working with various disparate systems (ordering, application provisioning, etc. ) to piece together a holistic view of key metrics
Self-directed, operationally minded and experience partnering with key stakeholders Sales, Product Management,Portfolio, and Finance teams.
Ability to drive definition and scope of offers for cross selling and add-ons in ambiguous environments
Ability to identify opportunities for bundling and cross selling
Strong decision-making and prioritization skills
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with strong business judgment and ability to present analysis in a clear and compelling manner
In-depth understanding of Sales processes and systems (sales cycles, account, territory, opportunity, pipeline management, Deal velocity)
Like to work in a high-growth, performance and deadline driven environment
Results oriented, with attention to detail and can prioritize multiple objectives and projects
Have a successful track record of working at all levels of management and sales teams
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a strong commitment to working as part of a dynamic team
Desire to learn and be challenged, self-driven and motivated
Knowledge of enterprise video security and public safety solutions
Knowledge of cloud offerings and applications business models
Knowledge and experience working with Tableau
