SUMMARY :

Support Garland manufacturing operations team and training center. Prepare and deliver new, ongoing, and annual training initiatives. Provide onboarding, skill development, and enhancement to temporary and full-time GTX value stream employees. Work with subject matter experts to create and maintain process procedures and standard work.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES :
  • This is a 2nd Shift position with the Hours 3-11 PM Monday-Friday.
  • Deliver new employee onboarding and support training efforts
  • Provide training per standard work and job breakdown analysis for associates
  • Provide hands-on administrative duties for new and existing employees
  • Conduct audits and maintain audit and training records
  • Perform related training and development efforts as assigned or requested.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
MUST HAVE QUALIFICATIONS :
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Basic to Intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Competent communication skills (writing, speaking, and listening)
  • Organization skills, attention to detail, and ability to follow instructions
  • Team player- must have ability to work collaboratively with plant leaders and associates
NICE-TO-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS :
  • 2-year degree or equivalent coursework
  • Experience in training/onboarding employees
  • Experienced line trainer or team lead preferred
  • Some experience working on small projects
  • Manufacturing experience
SALARY INFORMATION:

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS SUMMARY :
* Must be able to stand or walk for the majority of the work day
* Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
In 2023, Andersen has set a profit-sharing target of $4,000 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
