DataBank is looking for a finance leader who is hands-on, proactive, and self-assured to provide strategic support to the senior management team as they pursue an ambitious growth strategy. This individual will be integral to the company's capital raise initiatives including new debt and equity raises to fuel the company's continued data center market absorption. This person will interact on a consistent basis with the senior finance team and company executives as well as the private equity sponsor. With the ability to manage multiple projects at one time, the senior financial analyst will assist with the preparation of consolidated company forecasting models, single site acquisition models, and debt financing forecasts. Additionally, the senior financial analyst will take the front line in capital raise/acquisition due diligence processes including preparing answers to investor questions, and preparation of ad-hoc financial analyses. The position reports to the Manager - Finance & Underwriting.


Responsibilities


* Candidate should be well versed in excel financial modeling; passing an LBO model test will be part of the application process (including Key Performance Indicators, P&L, Cash Flow statement, Debt, and IRR/MOIC outputs)

* Work closely with the finance team to create & manage iterations of financial models from front to back; input historical actuals and projections for target asset; generate relevant scenarios to reflect DataBank execution

* Help with the due diligence process for debt and equity raises and new acquisition opportunities including fielding investor questions, financial summary preparation, and market analysis

* Prepare ad-hoc financial reports with reliable conclusions that management can use to improve financial performance, implement more effective operational strategies, and make capital allocation decisions

* Track and determine company project/asset financial status by analyzing actual results in comparison with forecasts

* Review and analyze financial statements and reports

* Handle select management & compliance reporting for the business

* Consult with management to guide and influence long term and strategic decision making

* Support the creation of executive presentations for regular reporting


Qualifications


* Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics or a related field with strong GPA achievement

* Two or more years of relevant work experience

* Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

* Ability to consolidate large data sets into clear summary outputs

* Outstanding presentation, reporting and communication skills; ability to confidently transact with C-level executives, private equity sponsor and external investors and advisors/investment banks

* Listening skills: absorption of intel and ability to interpret / recap

* Highly organized, attention to detail, and proven analytical capabilities

* Proven knowledge of financial forecasting, valuation methodologies, debt financing, budgeting, and corporate finance

* Capable of multi-tasking across multiple concurrent projects

* Background knowledge of digital infrastructure, data center operations, cloud and managed services a plus
