Make an Impact

Fossil Group is looking for a Senior Merchandise Planner to help lead the planning functions for Fossil Stores. This Senior Planner will ensure proper inventory flow and management of merchandise to the stores to meet sales objectives.

What you will do in this role:

  • Manage Open to Buy planning and analysis to drive and ensure store sales and margin goals are met along with proper inventory management
  • Analyze sales trends, margin performance, and other financial metrics to assess the effectiveness of merchandise strategies and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Help drive the team's success by providing insight and analysis into detailed planning KPIs for in season as well as future preseason
  • Collaborate with Commercial Merchant team to analyze business and make recommendations on in season promo changes, product placement, and sales/inventory shifts to achieve OTB targets.
  • Cross functional partnership to pass inventory needs to demand, supply, and allocation teams to achieve company KPI's
  • Work closely with global brand and assortment planning teams to align and execute merchandise strategies.
  • Partner with EMEA and APAC teams to share best practices across the globe

Your Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Fashion Merchandising, Finance or relevant major preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience in planning or buying
  • Experience leading and managing teams in planning/allocation functions
  • Proven success with building strong cross functional partnerships
  • Proven success with coaching and developing a team
  • Driven and takes initiative
  • Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills
  • Analytical and problem solving skills
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office, familiarity with Google Enterprise products
  • SAP knowledge required
