GM OF GLOBAL SALES

Hensley Industries is seeking a self-driven sales leader focused on developing the global accounts relationship and business in the mining and construction industry. The global accounts are located in North America, Latin America, Australia, Europe, Africa, and Asia. The ideal candidate has a strong sales and communication capability as well as solid negotiations skill. The Global Accounts Manager is responsible for growing sales with target accounts with aligned activities with Hensley's local sales teams and dealers. You will be recognized as the expert in the application of the Hensley products with a clear understanding of customer needs, market dynamics, and competitive activities.

Responsibilities

  • Management of key global accounts with aligned performance metrics to ensure strategies are aligned, implemented, and successful
  • Develop and manage strategic initiatives aimed at growing Hensley's business with the key Global Customers and leverage the improved relationship and knowledge to grow market share
  • Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned global customer accounts to support global customer approach
  • Develop and maintain a clear assessment of the key global accounts with machine data, Hensley potential by machine, competitive activities, and progress of key initiatives based on clearly identified customer needs (update regularly)
  • Manage the activities of Hensley's regional sales team to develop and implement key initiatives at a local level aligned with the global strategic initiatives for key global accounts so initiatives are achieved at the local level.
  • Manage the process within cross functional teams, including support, service, and management resources, to meet account performance objectives and customers' expectations
  • Meet assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned accounts
  • Provide weekly/monthly reporting on sales & marketing activities to ensure initiatives are met
  • Develop corrective actions when objectives are not on target and communicate to key stakeholders so Hensley can learn and recover to meet targets
  • Coordinate special projects with cross-functional teams to ensure Hensley meets objectives
  • Travels in the field with sales team to visit global accounts and end-user sites
  • Coordinates and attends sales conventions and trade shows as needed
  • Makes recommendations for new products or modifications to existing products
  • Support added special projects based on what is assigned and needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • 5+ years' experience in the mining and construction industries is required. GET industry experience is a plus
  • Strong ability for value-added selling and consultative selling with track record of strong sales results
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal relationship building skills are essential
  • Minimum of 10 years sales experience is required
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including presentations
  • Microsoft Office proficient
  • Ability to travel 50-60% of the time (including international)
  • Ability to speak other languages is a plus (Spanish, French, Portuguese, German)
