Job Description

The Account Executive is a pivotal role within our Public Safety and Direct (PSD) division, focusing on Next Generation 911 (NG911) services. This individual is the primary executive and business owner responsible for managing client relationships, ensuring account delivery, and overseeing the profit and loss (P&L) for specific client accounts. Reporting directly to the PSD Market Leader, the Account Executive plays a critical role in driving our company's growth and success in the NG911 domain.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with clients, acting as the main point of contact for all account-related inquiries and issues. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.

  • Account Strategy and Execution: Define and implement a comprehensive Account Plan, including growth strategies and objectives. Drive the execution of this plan to achieve or exceed targeted goals.

  • P&L Management: Take full responsibility for the financial health of your accounts, including budgeting, forecasting, and managing resources to ensure profitable growth.

  • Operational Excellence: Oversee the delivery of services and projects within your accounts, ensuring operational excellence, high-quality outcomes, and adherence to timelines and budgets.

  • Sales and Business Development: Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts and work collaboratively with sales teams to expand our footprint. Leverage deep industry expertise to propose innovative NG911 solutions that meet client needs.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders within client organizations, ensuring alignment of goals and facilitating smooth execution of projects and initiatives.

  • Industry Expertise: Stay abreast of trends and developments in the NG911 field, leveraging this knowledge to position our company as a leading provider of NG911 solutions.

Qualifications
  • Proven experience in account management, sales, or business development, preferably within the public safety or telecommunications industry.
  • Strong understanding of NG911 services and technologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex client relationships and large, cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience managing P&L.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communications, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in public safety, telecommunications, or related fields are a plus.
  • Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients and stakeholders.
