Job Description:

Airbus Helicopters is looking for an Aircraft Technician B (Blades Repair) to join our team based in Grand Prairie, TX.

Your duties will consists of performing various functions on rotor blades - to include receiving, moving, inspection, tear down, repair, balancing and returning to service in accordance with Airbus Helicopters documentation and procedures.

Your challenges:

  • Receive, move, clean, inspect, repair, and assemble rotor blades.
  • Maintain close working relationship with assigned lead regarding schedules, priorities, and availability of parts, supplies and tools.
  • Develop a clear understanding of methods and procedures on rotor blade repairs.
  • Able to effectively utilize all hand tools needed to execute inspection and repairs.
  • Develop skills on cleaning, sanding, body work/filling, painting on rotor blades and related components.

Your boarding pass:

  • Minimum of two (2) years related experience in the automotive (paint & body), aerospace, composite, wood working, and or other related skill/trade.
  • FAA Airframe Certificate preferred but not required.
  • Exceptional work ethic
  • Excellent time management skills, ability to multi-task and handle high volume workloads.

Citizenship:

  • Authorized to Work in the U.S.
