Fossil Group is seeking a highly motivated DAM Administrator with exceptional project management, technical and organizational skills with a specific focus on digital asset management and taxonomy. This position requires individuals who can operate effectively in a busy and deadline-driven Global ecommerce company . The ideal candidate is highly organized, energetic, proactive and fast learning. Experience or knowledge managing both creative and ecommerce workflows is a must.

This role will be instrumental in maintaining strict governance on asset organization, tagging and metadata profiles to ensure content data accuracy and hygiene.

This Administrator reports to the Digital Imaging Specialist and will regularly interact with Digital Imaging, Studio Operations, Ecomm Content, Creative and Global Integrated Marketing teams to ensure image and video assets are ready, available and easy to download. As we discover new capabilities within our DAM tool or whenever enhancements are released, this ADministrator role will play a vital part in the onboarding, training and SOP documentation for hundreds of DAM users.

What You'll Do

  • Ensures every asset produced is properly classified and tagged for system use
  • Drives standardization and compliance of metadata across all creative content types
  • Assigns creative work to Global Brand Creative Teams
  • Completes regular auditing on DAM content for data hygiene
  • Completes regular auditing of DAM content & performs archiving process to expire or retire older assets from DAM
  • Full understanding of Dynamic Media technology and the importance of potential risks of unpublishing highly visible content from DAM
  • User management across DAM
  • Owns monthly governance meeting
  • Runs monthly reports to evaluate duplicate assets, expired assets, user audits
  • Maintains documentation and SOPs / training materials for DAM
  • Folder creation for new seasons/years in AEM
  • Coordinates 2D image uploads with Product Design & Development Teams

Your Skills

  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, Library Sciences a bonus
  • Highly developed communication skills, both written & verbal
  • Firm grasp of creative workflows (ecomm, design, copy, marketing, production, photography, video)
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task across multiple channels and seasons, while managing challenging deadlines
  • Ability to collect relevant data and draw conclusions for holistic decision-making
  • Basic understanding of Workflow Management Software & Agile Project management methodologies (Workfront a plus)
  • Proficiency in G-Suite for document creation & management
  • Basic knowledge of Digital Asset Management (DAM) software
  • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively with various employee levels
  • Willingness to embrace the possibilities of the digital age by integrating multiple perspectives
  • Resourcefulness and solution-oriented mindset
  • Ability to adapt, take calculated risks, accept ambiguity, test, iterate, and pivot on ideas
  • Ability to balance customer/employee data collection and maintain data privacy and security

The pay range for this role is $60,000 - $80,000. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including skills, experience and location.
