AgCarolina has an open position for a Human Resources Generalist. This is a great role for someone who wants to begin an HR career in a great company. We are looking for someone who is has both great people skills as well as great computer skills. In this role, you will provide support in the areas of payroll and salary administration, benefits, and reporting. The HR Generalist is a key role that will add value to our Association by contributing to our "Win with Talent" business objective through promoting an optimal employee experience throughout the employee life cycle. In addition to your payroll and benefits role, you will lead or assist with recruitment support, onboarding and offboarding, and will manage a recruitment portfolio. This position will report to the HR Director, and work with a team of two other HR professionals.

How you will impact AgCarolina Farm Credit:
- Process semi-monthly payroll accurately, timely, and confidentially
- Coordinate all employee benefits and wellbeing programs, from onboarding through offboarding, delivering a high level of customer service, accuracy, and confidentiality
- Assist with salary administration and analysis to ensure compensation programs are competitive
- Assist with coordinating the performance management process, ensuring deadlines are met
- Manage a recruitment portfolio of vacant positions
- Assist with the recruitment and interview process, handling all support services to ensure a smooth and timely process
- Administer federal and state programs and reporting requirements, including Family and Medical Leave (FMLA) Plan, workers' compensation reporting, equal employment opportunity (EEO) and affirmative action reporting; ensures all requirements for posters are met
- Ensure all c ustomers have a great customer experience
- Effectively communicate with customers and team members
- Demonstrates a commitment to learning and growing by proactively following development plan

What you need to succeed:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field with 3+ years of equivalent experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Active PHR/SPHR, SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP, CPP or similar certification or willing to attain within 3 years of hire
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Oracle payroll system (preferred), HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
- Strong analysis, judgment, and communication (oral and written) skills; maintains confidentiality
- Quick learner, strong problem solver, and adaptable
- Work independently under general supervision
- Problem solving, decisive, and assertive
- Foster and promote a team atmosphere
