The Front Office Lead will be responsible for onboarding hedging counterparties including setting-up ISDA's, executing various hedging instruments, driving investment strategy and executing investment trades, managing and reporting counterparty exposures, providing FX rates for annual planning purposes and supporting valuation of various financial instruments.

As the Front Office Lead will have the following responsibilities:

  • Executing various hedging instruments for FX (spot, forward, swaps, NDF/NDS, options, algos, stop/loss orders), OTC commodity (swaps, orders) derivatives with selected counterparty and update TMS.
  • Providing instrument pricing and multiple market data to various teams within and outside Treasury.
  • Driving investment strategy and execute investments (deposits, money market funds) and short-term borrowings (commercial paper).
  • Managing share of wallet with various counterparty banks and lead:
    • ISDA negotiations and related KYC.
    • Measurement and monitoring of counterparty exposures.
  • Providing various reports such as FX monthly forecast and regular/ad-hoc updates of key economic events.
  • Publishing MOR/GAP rates, providing FX forecast input of AP/LRP.
  • Ensuring reasonableness of financial instrument portfolio valuation and perform quarterly valuations of bonds, leases, and interest rates swaps.
  • Performing monthly master data review in Treasury Management System (Example: pegged currencies, currency pair mapping)
  • Driving initiatives which include process simplification, new exposure identification and new derivative hedging instruments.
  • Fixing maturing NDF/NDS's, commodities at the beginning of each month, and interest rate swaps as required.
  • Leading and support ad-hoc projects.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Master of Business Administration from an accredited university with focus on Finance is preferred or equivalent knowledge & experience
  • Proven years of experience in a large and complex MNC Corporate Treasury function OR Markets function at a financial institution
  • Excellent communication skills in various forms, including verbal, written and presentational.
  • Treasury Management System and Bloomberg platform knowledge
  • Experience of interacting with senior stakeholders, the post holder will need to relate to senior business and finance leaders and senior financial institution personnel
  • Managing relationships; able to build and maintain effective working relationships with a range of people at all levels both internal and external
  • Resilience, there are many pressures within the role which are related to both time and the need to make appropriate decisions within a dynamic environment

Desired Characteristics

  • Able to anticipate, identify, and resolve complex financial issues
  • Prior experience in working on Quantum (FIS)
  • Finance Markets & Trading experience
  • Effective interpersonal and leadership skills
