The salary range for this role, based in Texas is $93,800.00 to $117,300.00, range will vary if outside of this location. Base salaries are determined during our interview process, by assessing a candidate'sexperience, skills against internal peers and against the scope and responsibilities of the position.

Position Summary

The Manager, Commercial Planning & Performance (CPP) plays a critical leadership role in our mission to drive the success of our complete portfolio across our entire customer base.

In summary, the Manager, CPP is responsible for executing demand planning and performance management against a designated geography (NJ/MA/CT/RI/MD/DC). Acting as the local point of contact for national operations and commercial performance strategy, this role translates national and local building blocks into market-level demand forecasting and horizon planning. The successful candidate is heavily involved in championing data-driven goal setting, outlet targeting, and performance management systems. By supporting Area / States in developing and managing performance metrics, this role enables successful execution against true market demand.

This position reports directly to the Director, CPP for a designated region and distributor partner(s). This role is divisionally embedded and works collaboratively with Area and State leadership for a specific set of States / Markets and Distributor partners.

Major Responsibilities / Accountabilities

- Maintain performance management systems within designated geography:

  • Manage program objectives, performance measurement, and ROI, ensuring consistency across Division / Markets.
  • Capture supply needs against program objectives and translate into accurate forecasting.
  • Effectively use dashboards and data subscriptions to communicate and track market goals.

- Support designated geography with forecasting and demand planning, in close partnership with division stakeholders:

  • Lead demand planning / joint forecasting and total S&OP process between Area / State, Chains and Distributor partners by leveraging all available data and facilitating consistency and open communication among internal and external stakeholders.
  • Drive increased forecasting accuracy against an 18-month horizon in addition to improved Customer Fill Rates in partnership with Distributor.
  • Drive diagnostics and implement resolutions in market against Supply and Operations challenges to meet consumer demand.

- Provide support for strategic outlet targeting:

  • Work with designated Area Lead to maintain account segmentation model to ensure local resources and priorities are invested in highest growth potential accounts.
  • Champion transformation initiatives and tools to integrate new models and data-driven strategy into local planning.

- Support through Data Analytics within designated geography:

  • Ensure all Division decision-making is data-driven, through the utilization of data dashboards and consistent communication, to inform Commercial and Distributor teams of the status of efforts against targets.
  • Capture and communicate best practices within designated geography and with S&OP/Brand teams on behalf of Area.
  • Translate national programs / objectives into demand forecasting.
  • Identify business opportunities, including distribution gaps, customer, and brand opportunities in Area.

Job Requirements

The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated self-starter with strong leadership, analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to collaborate effectively across functions with passion and enthusiasm.

Strong entrepreneurial ability to work around obstacles, results driven, and a bias for action with a pilot/learn/scale approach.

  • Education:Minimum Bachelor's degree (or equivalent).
  • Experience / Background: Minimum 5-7 years of previous sales management or operations experience, preferably within the wine and spirits or consumer goods industry. Previous Distributor experience is an asset.
  • Travel:This position may travel up to 30% of the time.
