Our team in Military Aircraft Group is looking for a Project Manager to join them. You will report to the Programs Director and will have an onsite work schedule at our business unit, Genesys Aerosystems, located in Mineral Wells, TX. Genesys Aerosystems delivers customer-focused technologies and customized solutions for Special Mission, Military & Defense, Military Trainer, Business, and General Aviation industries.

To be considered for Project Manager, here's what you'll need to bring with you:

  • Bachelor's Degree with 5 years of work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience sequentially multi-task, priortize and interface with all levels of management and engineering.
  • A working knowledge of cost and schedule performance analysis and reporting.
  • Excellent communication, reporting, and documentation skills.
  • Experience building and maintaining effective relationships with customers, suppliers, management, and employees.

As a Project Manager, you will:

  • Plan, coordinate designs, implement, track and communicate all company activities for completing project(s). You will monitor progress and performance against project plan and be the primary customer interface once on contract.
  • Work with Engineering, ODA and Sales/Business Development departments to review imminent project opportunities. This includes reviewing technical solutions, design specifications, preparing statement of work, coordinating design engineering and certification scope/cost/schedule estimates
  • Serve as the project liaison from the commencement of a project until closure
  • Ensure project requirements are well understood and followed by all functions in the project team.
  • Work with assigned team resources to review product design for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, contract requirements, and related specifications.
  • Identify and resolve project risks and issues, facilitate solutions and remove project roadblocks.
  • Manage project milestones and co-ordinate with multiple functions for successful project completion.
  • Work with engineering leadership to allocate project staff according to project requirements to create engineering program plan and schedule.
  • Control expenditures within limitations of project budget. This includes managing change requests from customers, schedule slips, etc.
  • Maintain project schedule by monitoring project progress.
  • Prepare project status reports for leadership by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.

Salary Range and Pay Disclaimer: The base pay range for this opportunity is $70,000 - $130,000 per year.

The base pay range represents the low and high end of the Moog pay range or indicates the hourly rate for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on many factors such as skills, experience, certifications and performance. The rate listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include a profit share bonus, employee stock purchase plan, a flexible paid time off policy, competitive 401K plan with enhanced matching program, and many region-specific benefits.
