We are hiring a remote Health & Safety Analyst to join our team!

PURPOSE

Under minimal supervision performs relatively complex safety administrative and project activities in support of the safety department. Responsible for project management and data management.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Produce reporting and project deliverables include ad-hoc reporting requests.
  • Provides administrative and support services to the Safety Team.
  • Builds relationships with operational stakeholders to maintain a safety focus at all locations.
  • Accident and Injury Data Analysis, Trend Reporting and Forecasting
  • Responsible for reviewing complex data from multiple sources, providing analysis and clear reporting and trending of accident, injury, and claims information to management
  • Define and validate technical requirements for Safety incident reporting
  • Assist Regions and locations with accident and injury trending and analysis
  • Review safety data/metrics to determine accident causation and contributing factors
  • Review Risk Management Information System (RMIS) data and reports to ensure safety data accuracy
  • Update OSHA data in RIMS system.
  • Monitor various compliance data sources to identify patterns, trends, and sources of any discovered non-compliance. This includes internal and external data sources/systems
  • Review RMIS safety data entry for completeness and provide detailed reporting to the Safety Team
  • Reconcile Claims and Safety Incidents with Safety reporting to ensure accuracy
  • Maintain Safety Intranet materials
  • Audit required safety materials to ensure completion by locations.
  • Maintain administration of Behavioral Based Safety Observations platform.
  • Monitor acquisition integration safety action items for completion.
  • Perform other duties as required

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field.
  • 1-2 years of safety administrative experience.
  • Or equivalent combination of education and experience.

COMPETENCIES

  • Working knowledge of modern office practices and procedures
  • Good verbal and written communicate skills
  • Ability to compose effective and efficient reports and correspondence
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong data management skills (Excel or other databases)
