General Purpose
The Lead Advanced Analytics Translator holds a leadership position in the implementation group of the Advanced Analytics team and manages the work of a team of Analytics Translators. They are responsible for setting the strategic direction, coordinating projects, and guiding the overall analytics implementation efforts within the organization.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Has a broader, strategic focus. They collaborate across functions and levels of leadership to align analytics initiatives with the organization's overall strategy and objectives.
- Participates in decision-making processes for Advanced Analytics initiatives and Influences accordingly in different levels of the organization to ensure the implementation and adoption of solutions.
- Manages and mentors a team of Analytics Translators, overseeing their work, providing guidance, and fostering their professional development.
- Is involved in overseeing complex, organization-wide analytics initiatives that require a deep understanding of both business strategy and advanced analytics.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business, data analytics, data science, business analytics, or a related discipline.
- Advanced degree is a plus.
- 3+ years of experience in data analytics, with a proven track record of effectively translating data insights for decision-makers and executing analytics projects end-to-end.
- 3+ years proven experience leading and managing a diverse team for the execution of projects from product design, development, and implementation
- A high level of data literacy that enables them to understand complex data concepts and translate them into actionable business insights.
- Deep understanding of the organization's processes, goals, industry, and competitive landscape to align data analytics efforts with business objectives
- A deep understanding of data analysis, data visualization, statistical analysis, and data interpretation to effectively translate data-driven insights.
- Proficiency with data analytics tools and languages such as Excel, SQL, Python, R, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Proficiency in project management methodologies to oversee data analytics projects, allocate resources, and meet deadlines.
- 30% travel projected
