Summary

The Senior Specialist in Real Estate Lease Management & Optimization holds a crucial position responsible for overseeing real estate leases and special projects across the Energy Transfer Partnership. This role involves managing the current leased portfolio, including supervising rent payments, lease property reports, portfolio optimization plans, and maintaining ongoing communication with landlords and site contacts.

A Lease Administrator/Portfolio Manager ensures the accurate tracking and processing of all financial transactions associated with leases, including rent, sublease payments, common area charges, and real estate taxes.

Job responsibilities for lease administrators include:

  • Lease review and abstracting
  • Accounting and processing
  • Lease Audits
  • CAM charges
  • Information management and reporting
  • Occupancy cost analysis
  • Operating expense review
  • Assist Coordinator with document storage and maintenance
  • Process payments in Rent Management System

Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below:

  • 5+ years of experience required.
  • Undergraduate degree in finance, accounting, real estate or business
  • Demonstrated analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Must be highly proficient with MS Excel and PowerPoint
  • Highly organized with the ability to perform multiple tasks
  • Self-starter with ability to learn quickly
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Working Conditions:

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.

  • Usually, normal office working conditions.
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
  • Up to 20% overnight travel may be required.
  • Occasional visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment.
