About the team
The Pooled Accounts team collectively manages Global, Enterprise merchants within North America, across all verticals/industries to bring Worldpay's global payments proposition to life. The leader of the team has P&L responsibility the P&L of ~2,000 Enterprise accounts that are below revenue thresholds to have a dedicated relationship manager, but have large, global expansion opportunity to grow. The team of account managers and associates share responsibilities to manage the client accounts while identifying new commercial opportunities and initiatives to expand their P&L. The exposure within the organization presents large opportunities to drive meaningful growth to Worldpay through increased client engagement, process improvement, and colleague connectivity while solving key cross-functional challenges.
What you will be doing
- Provides people leadership for planning, coaching, recruiting, performance development and mentoring.
- Monitors team and individual performance, works with employees to implement goals, document progress, and work with Human Resources on employee related issues.
- Participates in establishing financial goals, objectives and measurements to meet growth targets.
- Responsible for P&L management to minimize client attrition while capturing additional share-of-wallet of accounts through cross-sales collaboration.
- Develops sales plans, goals, strategies and objectives to achieve team goals and revenue objectives.
- Identifies and implements key process changes to facilitate stronger customer experience and seamless colleague communication channels within Worldpay
- Monitors client survey results to ensure positive client relationships and satisfaction and responds to any negative criticism.
- Ensures development and maintenance of long-term relationships with client base.
- Encourages staff to participate in product/service as well as industry related educational opportunities to strengthen and improve skill levels and ability to service customers.
- Instills a belief in the company's vision, mission and goals to establish Worldpay as a payments expert and leader in the industry.
What you bring:
- Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.
- Requires strong management, organizational, team building, coaching and mentoring skills
- Requires strong business skills, industry knowledge, financial management and planning skills, long-term vision and executive presence
- In-depth knowledge of Worldpay and/or payments industry
- General knowledge of financial and/or payment solutions technology including systems, applications and banking practices
- Requires strong negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Skill in productivity, planning and workload management
- Analytical skills are required to determine client business needs and requirements
- Requires the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of management(internally/externally),employees, clients and public
- Ability to identify, address and resolve employee related issues
- Minimal travel is required
