POSITION TITLE: Procedure Communications Specialist
FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt
SUMMARY:
Provides communications support throughout the bank to create, revise, and maintain written materials describing internal procedures. Works closely with internal partners and subject matter experts to provide accurate, concisely written products that can/will be used for internal training. Manages assigned work and day-to-day tasks including prioritizing and scheduling internal meetings to prepare communication materials. Drafts procedures and documentation for review. Works on multiple assignments, balancing the priorities and needs of the bank.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
* Works with designated contacts in Retail and other departments within the bank to develop written procedures
* Assists business partners in assessing communication requirements
* Develops and maintains communication processes and templates
* Coordinates with a variety of internal partners (subject matter experts) to record and document tasks to describe internal workflow and processes, which will be used as reference materials
* Works with internal partners to monitor testing, or performs testing, to ensure processes have been documented accurately
* Manages day-to-day workflow and prioritization of projects
* Key contributor to project meetings to support development and creation of procedure and other required materials
* Assure a high standard of quality for planning and communication
* Prepare written materials in a template format for documentation of procedures
* Follow-up on status of projects, keeping management informed of progress and issues
* Partnership with training facilitators to ensure timely updates to training materials
* Must be able to work with others to establish deadlines, monitor progress on assignments, and give feedback about project status
* Periodically reviews internal procedures to ensure that documentation is current
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
* High school diploma or equivalence required, college is a plus
* Prior administrative support experience required
* Prior banking experience in retail and commercial banking; operations knowledge is a plus

* Knowledge and understanding of branch operations and other banking departments
* Must have prior experience with business writing

* Proficiency with Microsoft Suite, with emphasis on Outlook, Word, and Excel
PHYSICAL AND MENTAL QUALIFICATIONS:
* Standing, walking, bending and stooping required
* Must be able to sit at a desk for long periods of time and use a computer
* Must be able to occasionally move or lift up to 10 pounds
* May be asked to work supplemental hours periodically
* Limited travel required occasionally during and after business hours
