YOUR ROLE:

As the Director, Customer Experience Intelligence, the employee is responsible for the execution and application of scalable intelligence products and proprietary research for the RAPP US Network. Customer Experience Intelligence is a division of the Strategy practice, which also includes the Experience Strategy and UX teams. Working in close partnership with our strategic, marketing sciences and client counterparts across all of our US offices, the CXI team provides a useful and differentiating base of consumer, market, vertical, brand and marketing channel knowledge designed to arm cross-functional teams with inputs that give RAPP client teams a "head start" and competitive advantage to grow relationships, inform customer experience design opportunities and inspire creativity.

CXI analysts are inherently curious, critical thinkers and creative problem solvers who know the landscape of available data, understand the role and application of data in decision making, can extract actionable value and insight from data, and can determine the right methods, techniques and research strategies required to facilitate desired learning.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Directs the application and customization of CXI solutions for clients across the US network.
  • Directs the design, customization and analysis of primary research for clients via proprietary methods or sanctioned partners.
  • Leads the execution and application of pillar CXI products, including the CXM Study, to clients across the US network.
  • Maintains a deep level of intimacy with primary research methodologies and techniques, as well as the approved roster of research partners.
  • Supports the development of new proprietary research and scalable intelligence solutions to evolve the CXI offering and elevate team deliverables in alignment with the rapidly changing marketing landscape.
  • Explores and vets' potential data sources, syndicated intelligence and technology/tools for application to CXI products.
  • Maintains a constant pulse on new/internal client challenges to pressure test and prioritize ideas for new intelligence solutions based on potential for business impact.
  • Maintains a deep understanding of the range of data science and statistical practices available to power advanced research/intelligence solutions.
  • Collaborates with Advanced Analytics team on data, data collection and analytics strategies associated with CXI products and client application.
  • Partners with CXI leadership team to productize, price and bring new solutions "to-market."
  • Collaborates with cross-disciplinary leadership peers in local offices to identify new opportunities, socialize existing products and encourage widespread adoption.
  • Develops tracking mechanisms, new KPI's and composite metrics as it pertains to customer and market intelligence solutions.
  • Helps manage and evolve the vendor toolkit to meet the continuous needs of the agency at large; facilitates widespread awareness, adoption and application across RAPP US/UK

REQUIREMENTS

  • 8-10 years marketing experience
  • Demonstrated experience in resource management, employee development and team leadership.
  • Experience conceiving innovative new products, tools and methodologies for use with marketing decision-making.
  • Demonstrated experience of working closely with analysts and research partners
  • Experience designing, fielding and analyzing primary research.
  • Established analytical prowess and ability to understand, use and visualize different types of data to draw insights and inform opportunities for marketing application.
  • Extensive knowledge of advanced market research methodologies and a strong understanding of analytical techniques required.
  • Experience and/or comfort with data manipulation and high-level data processing/programming/statistical computing (e.g. R or SQL)
  • Solid understanding of the modern media landscape, including CRM, direct, digital, media planning disciplines, along with common marketing strategies and general best practices
  • Ability to move across industry verticals and spot opportunities for enhanced customer, market, competitive data to deliver more informed strategic considerations.
  • Data Creativity & Creative Problem-Solving: Know the landscape of available data and understand the role and application of data to determine the right methods and techniques to facilitate desired learning and decision-making.
  • Extract Value from Data: Can detect the "signal in the noise" through curious and thoughtful interrogation of relevant and available inputs.
  • Storytelling & Presentation: Exceptional ability to produce client-ready written (Keynote and/or PPT) and verbal communications that embody a) insights ("What") b) Impacts ("So What") and c) Recommendations ("Now What")
  • Leadership & Personal Traits: Intense curiosity, passion for problem solving, creativity, ability to visualize solutions, positive can-do attitude, strong communication and interpersonal skills, good client skills, eager to learn and stay up to date on technology/media/data.

RAPP's current hybrid model is designed to enable in-person connections and collaboration that is core to our culture, while also supporting flexibility for all employees. As such, we have the option to work from home two days per week, if we'd like.

This range is specific to Dallas and multiple factors are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to: skill set, experience and training, certifications; etc. This is an exempt position.
